Cygames has revealed that "Granblue Fantasy: Relink" will receive a significant update, version 1.3.0, on May 31. The announcement was shared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), accompanied by an image featuring Sandalphon, a new character set to join the game.

The upcoming 1.3.0 update promises to be substantial, introducing various new elements to the game. Gamers can look forward to a new character and additional features, including a photo mode and a map overlay. Furthermore, the update will include fresh gameplay content like new side quests and challenges under the new Proud difficulty setting.

The previous major update brought in two characters, Seofon and Tweyen, each equipped with unique combat abilities focusing on dual blades and archery. Since its debut in February, "Granblue Fantasy: Relink" has frequently been updated, continually enriching the game with new content. The game achieved remarkable initial success, surpassing over a million sales within 11 days of its launch.
